Yup, they look like they are manufactured by Carson like Star, some Galls, and SVP sirens.

I don't believe that Carson mfrs the siren for Star as they did for SVP.

AFAIK, they make the electronic components and Star slaps on the labels. Carson has a division of the company to make electronic components since they have the facilities to manufacture printed circuit boards (especially including sirens). Most companies, such as Whelen, don't manufacture their own printed circuit boards. They instead contract that part of the operation out to a 3rd party company, who takes the designs given to them, and then ships the PCB's back and then Whelen actually builds the siren. Having the machines and processes to produce electronics form scratch is a very expensive endeavor and I'm sure a small company such as Carson is utilizing that other source of revenue. Besides, the electronic circuits are nearly identical.

That may still hold true, but for a long time, Carsom mfg complete "turn key" sirens including the label they were sold under for many other company's. They are no longer doing that as they wanted their own identity from what I've been told.
