I don't believe we've discussed this before. Favorite brand? Favorite type of bean? Favorite matching doughnut? Anything else?
For my EDD (everyday drink), it's Folger's Black Silk. Cheap and good! Add a bit of sugar and it's good to go (no cream--real men drink it BLACK)!
For special occasions, I like the Sumatra from West Coast Roasting ...it's heavenly.
And for those once in a lifetime occasions, Jamaican Blue Mountain Coffee is sinful. The price is, too. |

You say real men drink black coffee but this is "heavenly"???? Hmmm...sounds like a bit of a contradiction. Do "real" men use the word "heavenly" to describe something? |

| Simple. Coffee flavored coffee. Straight, no cream, no sugar. The stronger the better. |

Dude, I thought your user name was for something manly like beer. "Heavenly", "sinful", you're teetering on the edge of losing your mancard with those 2. Stay away from "fantabulous" or it will be revoked.

Doesn't matter as long as it's strong.
We were getting the gevalia stuff for a while, it's pretty good, just expensive. |

Nah, it just takes a very strong and testosterone-secured man to be so sure of himself that he's not afraid of dabbling into the finer areas of vocabulary and description.
Mmm...did I also mention I'm a heavy tea drinker (hint hint)?
Emt, I actually bought a pack of Dunkin Doughnuts coffee and had high hopes for it, but it was just a tad bit too sour for me. Perhaps I didn't get the ratio right...? It just wasn't like they brewed it in the shops! |

Black & strong. No sugar, no cream
For anyone not familiar with the Dunkin' Donuts references,
D.D. is a Massachusetts based walk in / drive through coffee & donut house.
They are extremely popular in the northeast with lines going out the door almost every morning. And they are everywhere. My small town has 2 of them.
When I was in Lockport , NY. (near Buffalo) a few years ago, I couldn't find a Coffee house anywhere except a Starbucks about 6 miles away. I asked a few people "where do you get a cup of coffee around here?" and the most common answer was "Mcdonalds".....Yuk! (before they had Newmans)
I also asked if they had ever heard of a Dunkin Donuts, and the answer I got was "Yeah, there was one , but it went out of business"

| Normally just regular old Folgers with cream and sugar and when I want a change I drink any of the Green Mountain varieties. When on the road it's Duncan Donuts or nothing. |

| Neumans own coffee is actually green mountain coffee. This is by far my favorite coffee and UVM has a ton of it, you can get it at every dining facility on campus. I also agree that using words has nothing to do with your mancard and being so intimidated that you would choose not to use certain words for fear of losing masculinity would in fact be far less manly than using said words. Green Mountain Coffee is delectable, by the way. |

You mean you can actually make your own coffee I thought you had to go to one of those stands with the young ladies wearing bikinis and learn Italian to get your coffee fix. Well thats what I get for living in the coffee capital I guess. |

i like my coffee like i like my women...
ground up and in the freezer
but in reality, I'm on the go so much and so ridiculously broke right now, I can't afford to be a coffee snob... I like any coffee these days that does look like it was brewed in a cauldron with dirt and a moldy sock |

I only drink coffee when I need a real quick pick-me-up, otherwise I can't stand it . This southern boy was raised on Dr. Pepper, and that's how I get my caffeine fix I do partake in an occasional doughnut, usually the cinnamon/sugar coated ones...mmmmmm good!!! |
