I have completed the next step in my project.

I added a rear license plate bracket along with two SoundOff LED3's in Red. They are the brightest lights on the rear now. I was pleasantly surprised at how bright they are.

Then I started on the pushbumper. First I installed the SoundOff Dual Predator 2's. These were recently revamped by SoundOff and the new style is very nice. I was very impressed with the cast heat sinks, as well as the over-all quality of the lights.

After that I mounted a Red LED3 on each side of pushbumper, and a White LED3 on brackets bent to 45 degree angles. My original plan was for a red and white LED3 in both postions, but that turned out to be.......well.......okay, it would have been overkill. Laughing

I suppose you want to see some pics with the lights active:

I also made a panel to fill in the factory slot so I could mount my SC-550 control head. For the time being it is just velcro'd there.

Oh Man, I'm sorry, forgot all aboutgving the info on the HLF. Yes, it went fine. very easy just follow the instructions.

I was actually thinking about using the New UltraLite from SoundOff, instead of the LS12's. I would use the predator 2 if I could mount it in the center, but I think it will be too big to mount by the visors. I mean it would hang too low.

I had been hoping to get a video camera, but the funds just aren't there. I'll try to borrow one and get some good video for you guys. Very Happy

The only thing I have done as far as the lights is add a SoundOff UltraLite 4 in All Red. It is a great light, very happy with it. I will take some pics of it, and get them posted.

I also added a Pioneer Avic-D3 prior to my tripp to MIchigan. It was great, worked awesome and was very helpful.

with the dual predators, how come the colors are red/white on one of them and white/red on the other? seems like it should be red/white red/white. does that make any sense?

I understand what you are saying, but I wanted the colors to be uniform, so one color on the inside, one on the outside.

+2

It cuts down on the blending of the red and white lights (the pink effect).

The electronics panel blends right in with the trunk.
