A pic of the Whelen Beta siren control box.

This is a pic of the "beauty board" made to cover the Mini Phantoms & WL28 on the rear deck.

The deck LEDs are nearly invisible until on. That cover really helps to hide them.

The Fed Sig doing what it does best, Peel paint! LOL Also the DLX3s on grille brackets.

Lastly, the DLX3s mounted at 45 degree angles instead of drilling my head or corner lights. Works out better this way anyhow.

I'd rather have them and not need them than need them and not have them. Plus, with 200+ officers and only 40 vehicles, I use my truck a lot more than a GOV. We're not out there doing traffic stops or getting involved in chases. That's not our gig. But we do have locations that don't have a GOV assigned. If a truck skips a radiation monitor as it leaves a pier, you gotta go get it somehow. That's when you claim milage, $0.52 cents a mile. And we also have to go from location to location while on duty. But if you are assigned to port patrol that day, you get a GOV that's set aside for that. And I'm also addicted! Laughing

Nice ride, dude! BTW, since you work port and I'm a professional trucker by trade and a FF at home, do you know the quickest way to stop a runner in a rig without taking out the tires???

I'm not sure, but I do know if he tries to run me down, it's with my firearm.

No, no, no...not a shot thru the cylinder block...but I agree about one in the head on the trying to run you down. The easiest way to stop a runaway rig is 2 rounds of 00 buckshot to the radiator or 4-5 rounds from the sidearm. Then all you have to do is sit back, ride along, and wait. The rig will stop on its own within about 3-5 minutes and then all you have to do is get the perp. This way you will not be in they way to get run over or rammed. This Works!!! It's been used and proven!!! Just FYI for all the LEO's from a trucker/FF that cares! Our jobs are both on the road, usually, so I watch out for y'all's safety when I drive like you do me. It's MY job as a professional! Wink Wink Wink Very Happy

Oh yeah, "Good Buddy" in the trucking world these days means that one is "a little light in the loafers" or has same sex tendencies! LOL! Y'all stay safe!

Ah Ha!!! I'm impresssed!! A lot of ppl don't know the lingo. LOL! I should write a book titled "The Language of Trucking". LOL! Make a million off of it and buy everyone on here the full vehicle setup of their dreams! Gotta share the wealth! BTW, if you wonder where "hitman" came from, it used to be my CB handle a long time ago. Now it is "Brain Damage". LOL! My family renamed me cause they say I am brain damaged to be driving a truck in this day and age with all the Yayhoos on the road...LOL!
