Wow. That fire was a long time ago. The helmet was taken out of service when I got back from the burn unit (not bad) that night. I replaced the shields later that month. And guess what? The brand new bourkes are just as effective (not). Safety glasses are in my coat pocket.

How much of a lift kit does your fire engine have man? Laughing Twisted Evil Laughing You guys can see everything while responding from all the way up there.

Nice. Let's see if I remember to bring my camera next time a the Fire house. It still has my Probie shield on it though, same one as FDNY use is what we use. Its nice and dirty though from that structure fire the other week.

Well here is my new one.

Thanks to my Lt. for talking me into buying this one. Its a 1010 Cairns defender. So far I love this helmet its fits better, looks better , and I love the visor.

Highly recommend you guys get one if you can!
