Don't know what kind of speaker would fit...what type of siren is he looking for? Full-Feature, hand held, undercover (one or two switches)? Full feature - Unitrol, i.e. UTMD or Omega 90 w/ 5000 or 8000 controller depending on preference for light switches. Hand held - Star/SVP can't remember model number. Undercover - Omega 90 w/ 3000 controller.

Not a lot of room in that grille area, and you don't want to go to low into the air dam area, so maybe a couple of TIR3s behind it, or possibley a couple SoundOff Ghosts. Maybe put a Dual Chameleon Xtreme MicroMax up front or a Tomar 200S.

HLF would work, but the new SoundOff Undercovers are really nice, something to consider for sure.

Maybe put some LIN3s or Mini-Xtreme 4s in the side windows. On the rear deck (depending on prefference) I would do an X-Trusion, maybe half Red half Amber with the Axixtech LED Indicator Switch Panel, warning and traffic patterns. Or a couple of Chameleon Xtreme MicroMax back there.

SoundOff Undercovers would be nice for the taillights, if they fit, not sure how big the housings are on those cars. TLF wouldn't be bad either.

http://www.elightbars.org/bb/new-ride-01-ford-zx2-update-vid-vt44650.html

I used a regular BP100 speaker mounted behind the grill area between the fog lights, using an L bracket to mount it to the frame.

Also. The pics and video are not up to date..as of now I have the sho me slim light mounted center of the rear window and a single viper mounted above the rear view mirror.

And a sho me mini led lightbar mounted the the sun roof...how...great strength and courage.

And lots of silicone Laughing but it looks clean and will hold at 90 mph for over 500 miles.

just like lac man said, there isnt a lot of space in the grill area so tir3's would prob. be ur best bet there.
for the dash, depending on budget, u can go with a dual talon for like 150 or a tomar 200s high power for a lil over 250 with the erm discount.
for the rear, i'd put in some talons...can get them new for 75 - 90 here and sync them.
for the sides, maybe lin4's if they fit or xtremes near the c-post behind the 2nd row headrests.
soundoff laws are what most ppl on the board will say are brightest. if thats all going over budget, maybe consider the new whelen vertex.
ur friend could prob. find tlfs and hlfs for 20 each used if he wants them.

for controls, a fedsig SS200 will be small and control everything. ive never looked under the hood of an escort but maybe consider the whelen projector series since they are pretty thin
