I guess that I should intro myself as well since I haven't done it yet and i'm getting to meet some great people on this forum.

My name is Chris and I'm a Lt. with the Soldier Township Fire Department. We are a single station combination department (hopefully doubling in size in the next few years) located just north of Topeka, KS which is about 60 miles west of Kansas City. I've been in the fire service since 1991 and have been with STFD since 97.

My full time job is a Supervisor for a campus PD communications center and I've been in the Emergency Communications field for 10 years really do enjoy it, but my blood still runs red first! Cool One of my "hobby's" was to learn how to install emergency equipment in vehicles (usually my own Twisted Evil ) and my FD buddy's soon learned that I could do it so I would wind up helping them as well. Any questions ask away! Smile
