Hi.

I just realized I never introduced myself here.

I'm a man in his middle 30's.
I'm a desktop publisher, actually unemployed.
I work for an association that helps people (mostly immigrants) by making them work so they can earn some money and have a more normal life.

I'm very respectful of all EMS, FD and PD members since I think they do a very courageous job. We need them, and they deserve our support.

My (small) collection:
1 54" Aerodynic 24EH, US blue.
I bought it from a guy in Holland.
Later I bought a flasher; and a red&amber dome has to arrive from Tennessee. Thanks Bobby !

1 Federal Signal Model 14.
Bought it from fleabay. The parcel never arrived then fly back to the USA with a broken dome. Got it without its dome finally.
I later bought a red dome from a texan Duke guy. Wink
(Never knew if he stoles it from Rosco P. Coltrane or not). Laughing

1 Federal signal Fireball FB-H11 (Red).
1 Federal signal Fireball FB-2 (Red).
1 Federal Signal Fireball FB-1. NEW

I don't want to be this hobby to become too heavy to handle so I decided to buy a limited amount of stuff then stop.
I will buy a Twinsonic, all the Fireball family members I do not have yet, and may be a Jetsonic.
I grew up with shows such has S&H, TJ Hooker, Hill Street Blues and CHiPs. That why I prefer Fed. Sig. products. Wink

I almost forgot.
I learnt english at school but it's a long time ago. So if some of my phrases sound weird, do not hesitate to send me a MP with the correct sentence. It'll be appreciate.

Have a good day.

Welcome mate and don't worry about the English it's better than my French (none) and no worse than many who (allegedly) speak it all the time.

July, the 9th.

My 4 sections red & amber dome is arrived yesterday from store in Tennessee (don't know if I have right to write the name of a store, so I won't!).
That's incredible. First this dome was almost not packed.
2 pieces of cardboard fits the ends of the dome and thoses 2 cardboards and the dome are set inside of a cardboard box.
No bubble paper or esle. Nothing.
The most amazing it's it arriveds absolutly damage-free!
My first beacon, the model 14 from FS was well better packed but "they" managed to broke the dome... I stopped trying to understand. Wink
The 2nd thing I've noticed is how a brand new dome can be un-blurry.
It's so clear you can see every gear, rotators, bulbs, etc. I'd rather prefer them with a little blurryness.

My goals as a collectors are almost reached. I set a limit up to 3 bars and 4 or 5 beacons.
My aerodynic is almost complete (she lacks her feets and correct wiring), so I'll be ready to hunt for another bar at the end of the hollidays. I hesitate between a Twinsonic (CTS would be great) and a Jetsonic (but I do not know this bar very well).
Is that true that in some junkyard you just have to bend over to find some ol' R/R ex-firetruck Twinsonic? You live such a wonderful country! Wink

Today I try again to fix the wiring of hte Aerodynic with the SW300. It didn't work properly. I think the 40A thermal fuse or the relay are blown up since every others circuits lite up my 6 rotators, but this one won't.

-Edit-
I just forgot to plug the small groung wire. Everything works fine by now.

It's over for today. See you!
LC. Embarassed
