| I found it around 1998-99 about 4 board revisions ago. I was asking questions on my Aerodynic that had been converted to strobes (my first lightbar bought at the Dayton Hamvention). |

I can't even remember how I found this site. I think someone told me about it about five years ago at roscommon, might have been Pat as a matter of fact, but can't remember. I was a member when we had the old forum.

That domain has only been active for the last 3-4 years or so. It used to be a sub-domain of some Canadian hosting company if I remember corectly. |

Hit up google for some lighting products, pointed me to one of the forums. One thing led to another, and I ended up a member. I'd have to say that a membership to elightbars is better than waking up with a tattoo you dint recall getting, though. Just had to throw a joke in there.  |

Google, and I was searching for some info about a siren I came across on ebay, I typed in the model number of the siren and hit "search".
The reason was that the owner had marked out what tones where avalible on the siren.
It was advertised as a lightbar controler, but the siren buttons had been photoshopped.
I think I found that siren cheaper here, so I decided to look around some more and found this incredible site.
I though I was the only man in the world that had that strange hobby, warning and emergency vehicle equipment.
I was very releaved when I found this site, to know of more people in this world that share the same intrests as I do.
Now I know I'm not the only one
Here people know everything and more about this equipment, I read more than I post, and I enjoy it cause I'm learning alot.
I think I may be spending a little too much time here but thats all good.
I'm very glad I found out about this site!
