Hey I was wondering if you guys could i.d. this for me. I haven't been able to find anything on it online, or in any of my Motorola books. It was at the bottom of a box that I bought at the sheriffs office auction, and their mechanic didn't know what it was, but told me that it worked when they took it out (the normal cut and pull approach). It's auctually kinda driving me nuts Confused , nothing online nothing in print (Moto books are from the late 70's-80's). Any help would be really appreciated. Very Happy

Yep, it is only the control head for the original Syntor. The bottom one is for channel selection, volume and squelch. The top could be used for a few things including scan lists, multiple PL or channel guard tones, etc. Basically worthless without the rest of the radio but it would look good sitting in a resto cop car. BTW, so you don't waste any time or money hunting one down, the rest of the radio it's self is pretty worthless too. They require a "suitcase" programmer and not many people even own one any longer. Those of us that do charge a pretty penny to drag the damn thing out and program anything with them since they are a bit labor intensive. Hope this helps.

That's funny! I never saw the link. That's my friend Bill's site from NJ. He was just over at the Matamoras hamfest with me this weekend. Laughing
