Just looking to see what some of your preferences are between using Jotto or Havis consoles and why.

I have the Jotto in my explorer and I am pleased with it. Dont know anything about the Havis consoles. I did find another console for my explorer that wasnt as deep as the one Jotto offered. So there wasnt enough room in the other console to install a radio, so I went with the Jotto. Price was also cheaper on my Jotto.

I would look at what is going to be installed and what the options are between the two. If you need pics I can post a pic of my center Jotto console.

The Jotto's seem to have more creative and better fitting options, but Havis has more options for theirs.

Jotto seems to make theirs on a car by car basis, where as with Havis, for MOST cars you have to buy the track, but the nice thing about that is that you can install whatever console you want on it.

So for me, it comes down to what your car is.

Some of the Havis options are really nice, like their switch box with contura rocker switches, and the fact they will make label plates for them with whatever you want.

But if someone comes up to me for a way to mount switches in a Super Duty, I point him or her towards Jotto. But if someone wants a full length floor console with lots of space for equipment then Havis.

I have never checked though... can the faceplates of a Jotto be used in a Havis? Seems like it would. Then you can get crazy with options.

I have no opinions on build quality as both build them well and stand behind the products they make.

Jotto has more "oddball" vehicle specific offerings. I think Havis consoles have better fit and finish and even though they have more parts, seem more robust.

I'm running product from both.

Jotto has the Console mount to replace the change/junk keeper on top of the dash of my 2004 F-150.

Havis, has the "console" that installs in the factory console well under the arm rest to hide everything.

I use which ever one get the job done at the time, if they both do the deed, then it comes down to either price or customer preference.

We have both in our vehicles, some have Havis consoles, others have Jotto. We have Jotto computer mounts in all of them, I like them much more than the Havis computer mounts. Although, I do like that Havis has the option of more "low-sitting" comp. mounts.

Jotto consoles look cleaner in my opinion. Near perfect fitting in any application and their powder-coating is more durable than Havis' in my opinion. I'm not a fan of Havis' 2-piece faceplates, they don't look uniform...their 1-piece ones are decent though.

Overall I prefer Jotto, but Havis has a couple console applications that Jotto doesn't.
