First off thank you for all you share! My current desktop is from your Sugarland captures. Warble + Rumbler sounds like Bill Cosby saying SWOOOBBAAA in his Noah's Ark skit. Shocked

Nice vid pimp... Rumblers would work great up here in Alaska where the moose invade the highway system in the winter and the RV's with deaf old men in the summer LOL. Sent the review vid link to my boss, maybe your video will convince him to try one of these things Smile

Thanks for all the effort you put in!

I know- kindof an old post....
Got to experience the rumbler last night at work! Officer sent me a CAD message and asked me to come outside. I walk out into parking lot as a cruiser comes flyin' in with it's lights on and siren going (it's 0503 in the morning btw). I'm just standing there thinking one of our officers has lost his marbles in the early morning hours...and then he activates the rumbler!

Hearing it in person, all I can say is "it's different"! I didn't really feel it like I expected, but it was certainly noticeable. Apparently the department is putting them in all our current '08 and future CVPI's. 1 thing I thought was different is the mounting location- you can see the back end of it exposed in front of the RF tire (5hrs3min old and it was covered in dirt). Obviously it's made for the weather, still seems strange! Officer said it made his feet feel like they were asleep when it was activated.
I actually got the impression it would be more effective from a farther distance (I was about 10 feet away to the side of the car, in a corner of "L" shaped buildings). I don't know how well it penetrates other cars, but it is certainly an attention getter!

We have the Rumbler in two of our vehicles, these vehicles also both have two 100watt speakers. My "opinion" is I have not heard any videos online that does the rumbler justice. If I use the Rumbler too much during my shift I go home with a headache and sick to my stomach. If anyone in the Brighton Michigan area wishes to hear it let me know and bring your ear plugs. I had an ambulance crew tell me they heard and felt the sirens for a mile or two down the road when approaching a scene.

They have change the apperance of the speakers, and I dont know if they changed the instructions but took me an hour to install it and wire it...

And YES, its one hell of a sound... I recommend the Rumbler to anyone who use his siren in a heavy traffic environnement. Its gets traffic and pedestrians moving. But be sure to have enough space on your vehicle to install it, those speakers are huge!!!

Push bumper mounted!? Wow, I've never seen that either...I feel like out Fed. Sig. rep. has been with-holding! That has to add to the intensity of the system. How was it setup, was there a seperate amp. and timer? And is the bumper mount 'Universal'?

Pat at Priority One was nice enough to demo the Rumbler for me and it was SWEET! I was standing right outside the vehicle and when he activated it I could certainly feel it (especially in my chest!) Don't know what it's like if you are in a car with music/insulation/etc, but it definetly got my attention.

For the mount, its the ''standard crown vic'' mount that comes with it, bolted on the side panels of the pushbars and yes there's still an amp and a timer. For the effect, let me tell you that its louder than ever...

Seems like the Rumbler could get very annoying. I think an easier solution to response safety would perhaps be driving slower, instead of trying to make new contrptions that annoy the public out of the way.
