Yup, but I'm good with my smart siren the way it is. No need to go crazy for right now. I'm getting 2 more lights and that's it. Then I am going to be spending money of Sky herself. She needs some new tires and maybe a few other things to help with fuel mileage.

This will be the last update for a while. I moved a few lights around because I found I desperately needed intersection warning. So this will be it for a while since my girlfriend will be here on Tuesday and will be here for over a month. No more installs for a while But I promise, you will all like the next update. Wink

Front: Axixtech Micromax Xtreme in Blue/Blue

Sides: Sound Off LED3s in between front bumper and fenders

Rear: Sound Off Ultralite 12 TD in the rear windshielf and Whelen LIN6s mounted to the inside of the toolbox

Interior: Federal Signal Smart Siren 2000SM

REALLY CRAPPY cell phone vid.

And?

What does that have to do with anything?

Sounds like extra help to me.

Nope. I'm not that much of a whacker to prioritize light installs over my girlfriend who I haven't seen in a few months. I already feel bad enough as it is because I have to work most of the time she's here.

Steve,
No she doesn't take my money. I got really lucky. She pays for everything of hers and she will yell at me if I try to pay for it. *shrug* Oh well. Laughing

+1. Lights and sirens are all well and good, but they take a back seat to the fairer sex (as, I believe, they should!). Very Happy

Been working on Sky for the last couple weeks. Here's a teaser pic. I'm still waiting for a box to show up tomorrow. But Sky has changed alot. But not all necessarilly with lighting. She's gotten some better looks too. But life isn't perfect. According to my onboard computer, I'm getting close to 45 miles to the gallon. Shocked (I wish).

The chameleons are in the grille. I use blue in CT and I am going to be going active with a department in Michigan in September and will require red. That's why you only see blue.

Ken,
I have a replacement car lined up, however, I cannot buy said car at this time because it is not officially \"on the market\" yet. I'm going to be modifying Sky in the coming weeks, so that when I sell it, it looks like an off road show truck so I can sell it to some dumb kid for alot more than its worth Laughing Not to mention I really do need the truck for right now for construction purposes.

Lol, I'm not! Thats my wonderful truck for you, always something new to fix. Rolling Eyes I know for a fact I get between 10 and 12. Since I filled up last week, I've driven 360 miles (I usually get around 400 miles to a tank), but it tells me i've only used 1/4 of a tank. So 360 x 4 = 1440. 1440 / 32 gallons = 45 mpg. Something is definitely wrong there Laughing

Ok so my laptop kind of broke and now I don't have the software to upload to my PC, so all I can do is take cell phone pictures and videos now. Rolling Eyes Here's the best I could manage.

Sky's new front end:

White and Chrome Grille
Clear Turnsignals w/ LED Driving Lights

She also got tinted windows all the way around to help keep the cab cool since she doesn't have A/C as well as chrome door handles and a chrome locking gas cover. She has also become a totally stealth vehicle. Lights cannot be detected until turned on, but don't worry they are very visible.

Lights clearly visible when activated:

Inisde of the toolbox, with LED work lamps and Whelen LIN6's

More pics and a video to come when as soon as I get my laptop fixed and/or when the rest of my parts arrive.

due to a change of plans (and hopefully a newer ride) most of the lights are leaving the truck, so there's no point in me hiding what was in the truck anymore.

Front:
(1) Custom Inner Lightbar mounted to the visor mounts built from 2 Whelen Dominator 4's and 1 Lightning X Micromax Xtreme Linear
(2) R/B Lightning X Chameleon 09s in the grille

Intersection:
(2) Blue Sound Off LED3's mounted between the front fender and bumper

Rear:
(1) Ultralite 12 TD in B/B/A/A/A/A/A/A/A/B/B
(2) Red Whelen LIN6s mounted to the inside lid of the tool box
(2) Autozone LED Strips mounted inside the toolbox used as Scene Lights

I just got the new exhuast, new air intake, and the power chip installed. I need new tires now and will probably get some new wheels too. I also am removing the middle seat in the truck since I have split bench seats and will be building a custom console to house my scanner, Smart Siren, Power Chip, etc.

So basically....I'm starting from scratch as far as lighting goes. Only thing I plan on keeping is the R/B chameleons for now. Maybe a dual avenger or a Tomar 200S high power on the dash and 4 strobe HAW's in the brake and tail lights and that's it. If anyone has some ideas that aren't overkill and expensive, let me hear them.
