| Setup updated, all Whelen LEDs (minus the China bar that is only on the truck about 7 days a year at the max). |

| Updated again. Got rid of all the different controllers for as SS2000SM-SD. Barely anything strobe or halogen remaining, 90% LED. |

| Not yet, already asked my brother to make one. I can do pics, but I suck at vids and uploading them. They're on the way. |

A few vids w/o the LB on. Truck was in my garage, so no distance vids.
Front was in direct sunlight, so the LAWs didn't show up the best. Think I'm going to try remounting them vertically as instructed rather then horizontally.

| Would you see the TIR3 in the grille better if they were placed in a lower position? Other than that great install. |

| It's how I wanted them, just under the top so they were camoflaged in the chrome. You can still see them great when on. The vid was done really close. From a distance, they showup better. |

I still have my console from my 1997 Suburban if you need something for that truck. It uses the seat bolts. You just need to remove the factory console which is only a couple of screws. I even have the storage pocket for it.
If you want, I can dig up some pics of what it looked like installed later tonight. http://www.elightbars.org/bb/post50409.html
I also cleaned up the boxes so they look much nicer. I would recommend the 17 console (which is what I last used in my burb).
My only other suggestion would be to find a 314P speaker. It fits nice and snug behind the grille (at least a Chevy one). At least that way the sound has a straight shot out. |

Everything is remote mounted and the wife forbade anything be done with the factory console. Like it as is.
As far as the speakers, might do something different in the future, but the woo-woo doesn't get used all that often, so it works for now. Lights mainly used for traffic control for my vollie stuff. |

Yeah...just rather see the stuff go into another truck than to trash it kind of thing. All my stuff was remote mounted as well, but the heads were obviously in the console with the other toys.
(5 radios all high power, ISP188, BL627, computer, etc). Its amazing what you can fit under the front and 2nd row seats...though tight at time.
I am guessing you don't have rear air controls, as the SS is mounted there |

[quote:f6cee539f9=\"rwo978\"][quote:f6cee539f9=\"jantman\"]Nice. I'm not crazy about the switches either, they're a lot like my last truck, never cared for it much, but it's a lot simpler than big switches (and rectangular cutouts - eek!).
Where did you get the \"Chinese\" bar, and do you like it? I'm not interested immediately, but was thinking it might be nice to look into... |
That response was in response to my previous pictures of my old switchbox. The little box is harder to get at, but I usually turn on what I want/need ahead of time, then use the HHS2100.
Just searched on the internet for a while until I found the best deal. There's a hundred places to get them from. I don't need an expensive LB cuz it's rarely on there, but wanted LED, so this fit.
Thing I don't like is they're advertised as all Gen 3, but mine had 8 Gen 3 modules (blue) and 8 Gen 2 modules (4 blue, 4 amber). The Gen 3 modules wouldn't even fit in the corners without a lot of cutting on the brackets, so I doubt any of thse type bars are all \"Gen 3\". Also, the flasher that came with it is not scan lock, so it resets to the original pattern every time. If you're interested, seriously look at rewiring it for a different flasher. Other than that, after getting it all wired up, it gets the job done. |
