Complete LED package!!!. Only remaining halogen is the HLF + TLF. The SS2000SM has an ignition override so I can turn my truck off and run all the LEDs off battery (FN high gas BS Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad ). I do keep mini LED bars under the rear seat for those situations where I need a roof light.

Pics below, my edited post got cut off.

-SS2000SM controller.
-Pos 1 = amber LEDs, SM on single alternate, switch 1 (LAWs), and power to TLF
-Pos 2 = blue LEDs, switch 2, switch 3
-Pos 3 = switch 4, power to HLF
-Switch 1 = LAWs
-Switch 2 = Front Blue LEDs
-Switch 3 = Rear Blue LEDs
-Switch 4 = Minibars/Cig plug by SS amp
-Switch 5 = Cig plug by SS amp
-Key 11 = HLF/TLF cutoff (thru relay)

From front to back, lights and speakers:
-2 amber and 2 blue TIR3s behind grille.

-2 blue TIR3s, side of front LP bracket. (NEW)

-Whelen Vertex LAWs C/C in the turn signals. (NEW)

-HLF - FedSig FHL2-SC standard alternating.

-Speakers - 2 drivers on a splitter w/ one bell. Both hooked to siren.

-D8 - all blue, by RVM.

-Whelen LED Responders (2). Both half amber, half blue.

-Side LEDs - TIR3s, 1 amber, 1 blue each side, mounted in a D2 housing.

-Arrowstick - 2 D4s custom wired to split around the barn doors. BAAA/AAAB setup. Ambers controlled by SS2000SM. B controlled by D2 flasher mounted in housing.

-Rear LP - 2 B TIR3s, vertical optics.

-TLF - Galls traffic backer

-Whelen Vertex LAWs R/R in taillights.

-Yaesu VHF ham radio (by seat),

-Kenwood TK-790/TK-890 dual band VHF/UHF (by passenger seat). Decks mounted under front passenger seat.

-Monitor P25 w/ my work portable (XTS5000).

Where is your siren control? I like the use of the Panavise mounts (or whatever brand they are), but have you ever thought about centralizing all your internal equipment with a center console? Seems like you'd have plenty of room. I also like the idea of the remotely mounted relays. I'm in the process of doing the same thing with my pickup.

How are you holding the LX4's in the grill in place?

I have almost the same truck and like the way you have them in the grill, although I think I will do 2 below the gmc logo as well so I can do an \"X\" pattern.

Although with the new Xtreme LEDs I may just put two of the Xtreme 9 LEDS 1 on each side of logo

Front TIR3s and D4 by RVM

Speakers, HLF (cleaned up, loomed wiring - NEW)

SS2000SM control head

Radios

Radio decks - front (shows the TK-X30s, but the 90s are mounted the exact same)

Side TIR3s - interior view

Side TIR3s - exterior view

Rear compartment

SS2000SM amp (before)

SS2000SM amp, Cig outlets for mini bars (NEW - cleaned up, loomed wiring). Switch cycles the amp from ign. power to battery power so it can be run with truck off. PA ext cord, doesn't work, why mic is mounted there (I've never used PA anyways)

Arrow stick - full shot (old shot, no more LP mini)

Arrow stick - half shot, shows door spacing

TIR3s by the rear LP (now with vertical optics, not pictured)

Nice. I'm not crazy about the switches either, they're a lot like my last truck, never cared for it much, but it's a lot simpler than big switches (and rectangular cutouts - eek!).

Where did you get the \"Chinese\" bar, and do you like it? I'm not interested immediately, but was thinking it might be nice to look into...

That response was in response to my previous pictures of my old switchbox. The little box is harder to get at, but I usually turn on what I want/need ahead of time, then use the HHS2100.

Just searched on the internet for a while until I found the best deal. There's a hundred places to get them from. I don't need an expensive LB cuz it's rarely on there, but wanted LED, so this fit.

Thing I don't like is they're advertised as all Gen 3, but mine had 8 Gen 3 modules (blue) and 8 Gen 2 modules (4 blue, 4 amber). The Gen 3 modules wouldn't even fit in the corners without a lot of cutting on the brackets, so I doubt any of thse type bars are all \"Gen 3\". Also, the flasher that came with it is not scan lock, so it resets to the original pattern every time. If you're interested, seriously look at rewiring it for a different flasher. Other than that, after getting it all wired up, it gets the job done.

Yes, they're wired up to get power when the Front/Rear LB led is on, in case I'm out and about without the lightbar, then I can throw a mini bar up there and still turn it on/off by the controller.

Ref vids, my brother took a video of the LB just after I got done re-wiring it, but we couldn't get it to work last night. We're trying.

That homemade controller caught my eye. I made one of those about 4 years ago when I had my ford ranger. I am a computer tech.. so I took CAT5 cable and ran it from the relay box to the switch panel and wired an RJ-45 module to it. It worked great.. Especially when I can unplug it real quick before i let someone else borrow my truck. That way, they don't go down the road playing with lights...

This is the second one I've made, a lot simpler, but with better cable connections. My first had the same toggles, but with indicator lights, It also used a similar plug as the LB for connections and a homemade cable, it wasn't too pretty.

I've got a hidden kill switch under the dash for the HHS2100........ oops, I let the secret out....... Wink Kills the ign. input. I can also unplug the HHS2100 controller, I left the jack exposed. The mini controller gets power from pos 1, so no HHS2100, no power to mini controller. But, I can just unplug that too to ensure that nothing will be turned on accidentally.

For the price, it works. Basically 2 LX4s in a housing. I don't like the shroud though, way too big for most applications. It needs to be 1/2 to 1/3 of the size it is. I've debated cutting it down, but haven't done so.

I'll probably look at getting the Xtreme MM2 when it comes out.

Thanks for the reply but I've been searching everywhere online and can't seem to find anything on the splitter. Mad Would you know of a link to where I can purchase one?

Over all I like your setup. Its one of those setups that just specific for you but no one else would really get it. I do like your dash lights and side warning, but Im not a big fan of the light and siren control on a hand mic, but I do have to ask Does your two sirens work with one bell or does it cancel its self out. Is it very loud?

I like everything in one place, that's why I went with the Whelen unit. Plus, I can unplug it and throw the control somewhere should someone else drive it and not be tempted to mess around.

Both speakers piggyback off the other, so it seems a lot louder.
