Honestly, If it were me I would spend the very little extra money and go with 4 TIR3's. or any other Gen3 LED. The microlites are gen1 leds, They had pretty good reviews(with the exception of some condensation issues) several years ago when they first came out. However today I feel there are many similarly priced products that are far superior to the microlites.

You can do far, far better than those.

TIR3s are the best bang for the buck.

These are nice too:

I personally like the micro lites, I also like the TIR3. I have used and installed both. The micro lites have split color options now which is pretty neat. However, I think the TIR3 would work much better in your grill. The microlites work really well against flat surfaces where you don't want some bulcky TIR3 hanging out. If the TIR3 don't work out INSIDE your gril, you can alwasy flush mount the Microlites.

It all boils down to what type of vehicle you are putting everything in. Good Luck!

The Microlights are not bad if you are straight on at them, but once you get off angle a little bit, they are gone. THe TIR3's, like everyone said are just a little bit more money, but they are really great.

I had 4 MicroLites in behind the grille of my Jeep Cherokee. They worked great and the flasher will accept up to 10 lights, so you can expand the system. I agreee however that the LED technology is not up to par the the Whelens. If you can, try to go for the Whelen TIR3's. It will definatly be worth it for you. They are absolutly blinding. Amazing lights.
