I took these in today on a trade. A buddy of mine drove up from Indiana & had gotten these from a collector down there. One is supposedly an old New York State police light.
The clear domed one is a Holmes 211; works great. The other is a Signal Stat 374, also works great. These also came with pretty nice red, amber, clear, & a split red/amber ( Shocked ) dome(s). I had never seen the split color dome before but apparently the DOT trucks sometimes had the split domes (amber front / red rear).
Other cool part is the domes also fit the Federal 184 Cool
Here are the pics:

Holmes is a wrecker manufacturer that bought Dietz lights to their wreckers.
Personally I doubt that New York State Police bought their Dietz 211's from Holmes.
Dietz had the split dome in only red/amber (77-212RA)
Other manufacturers, like Federal & North American, had them in other combinations like red/blue.

Nice to see some one has saved a old holmes wrecker light.I had 2 of those on a truck year's ago. They were actually sold by Holmes dealer's for a very high price. If not mistaken i think i paid something like 150.00 a light and at that time that was a pricy light.Light bars were out but close to 1000.00 dollar's and out of my price range.Jhook

I've got several of the SVP model 531 beacons. Same basic 4-bulb style. I managed to rescue these from the dumpster as they were being phased out.

Cool lights! Our local FD still runs a similar light on two of their pumpers.
