It might not be the most collectible lightbar on the planet, but it is special to me. I bought my first BRAND NEW lightbar back in 1987 or early 1988. I special ordered it through GALLS. It was a Force 55\" 4LP, with 2 100 watt fast rotators, and 2 55 watt regular rotators, V mirrors to the front, and alt flashers to the rear. I sold that bar to a local VFD back in 1990. It was used on 2 units over the years. I got a call last week, that they had replaced the rescue unit it had been on, and they wanted to know if I wanted it back. Of course I said yes, and they told me to just come and pick it up. I did just that. It still had the original rotators in it, even the 100 watt ones. I figured they would have replaced them over time. It is now on my workbench, and I am going to restore it to new condition....well, maybe with a few mods... Cool It truly is like an old friend coming home....

My first new lightbar was also a LP, but 47\"; back in 1985. Also from Galls. It was a four rotator bar and I had added front and rear flashers to it later. The LP has to be the easiest bar to work on.

I thought your first lightbar was a bunch of candles strapped across the top of your Conestoga wagon . . . ?
