About a year and a half ago a friend of mine gave me a 2 head Whelen strobe power supply and two lights. We installed them into my rear brake lights. They worked fine, and then awhile back I had replaced a blown bulb. I replaced it, and everything was fine. A couple of months ago i thought the bulb blew, but when i took it out of the brake light the wires had burned, so i rewired it and it worked fine. Now one of the bulbs is out again, and so the strobes will not work. One of the members on here had checked everything for me, and feels the wires under the truck running from the tail lights to the power supply at the drivers seat are shorted, or chaffed. Since my truck has had a couple of people work on it, he also disconnected the switch which was powering the strobes. The bottom line is, I have two strobe bulbs which we believe are in working order, and a power supply under the seat. I also have a spare power supply which is almost brand new. I am looking for someone to help me rewire the two strobes and swithc so that they work. I have recently been promoted to LT. on my towns Rescue Swuad so I will be going direct much more, as opposed to the scene. If there is anyone out there willing to help me I would appreciate it. I will be more than happy to assist you with the work, It is just the electrical part that scares me. Please PM me if you are interested in working something out. We could do it at your place, or my fire station.
Thanks,
Jon

welcome to the site, hopefully you can find someone to help you out. I'll give you huge credit for admitting you don't know what you're doing instead of blowing up the truck.
