Here are some detailed pics of the 5000. That white stuff on the base is sticker residue from a price label maybe? This arrive in its original box with that funky fiber fabric that Whelen shipped their lights in.

This is indeed a \"Quick Disconnect\" model...note the old school lighter plug.... Shocked

Very nice. It looks like it has the roof mount bushing, for easy removal when not in use.

the funny thing when i was a lil kid whelen when they were still in DR at on Rt 154 (old Rt 9A) they used to put Different colored strobes in the Window for X-mas


also i know were the Very First whelen Garage/Factory is a benn by it many times

i lived in essex Whelen was in Deep river on the far end of town almost into chester
