Here are some detailed pics of the 5000. That white stuff on the base is sticker residue from a price label maybe? This arrive in its original box with that funky fiber fabric that Whelen shipped their lights in. This is indeed a \"Quick Disconnect\" model...note the old school lighter plug.... Very nice. It looks like it has the roof mount bushing, for easy removal when not in use.

the funny thing when i was a lil kid whelen when they were still in DR at on Rt 154 (old Rt 9A) they used to put Different colored strobes in the Window for X-mas also i know were the Very First whelen Garage/Factory is a benn by it many times

i lived in essex Whelen was in Deep river on the far end of town almost into chester
