Hello from the entertainment capitol of the nation. (thats what the chamber of commerce says) My name is Mark and I work for AMR here in Las Vegas, Nev. I've been and EMT here since 1979 and worked for AMR for 24 years. I also spent 10 years with the Clark County Fire Dept in the 1980's. I am also a member of the Police Aux here and we do call outs for traffic control assistance at incident scenes. I'm also an active with Ham radio. The vehicle I use for traffic control callouts is a 1991 Ford Bronco. I will post some pics when I figure out how to do it. Wink

I love going to Vegas, among other reasons becasuse of all the great public safety vehicles.

Two questions for ya:

1) What's the story on the decked out Excursion at AMR ops with the MERCY_9 license tag?

2) Are you with the same MVP group as Woody Woodward?

Thanks for the PM. I'll look froward to your future posts and seeing your pictures.

You know, it always seemed to me that AMR treated LV as their flagship operation and treated you guys better than what I have heard from the AMR guys in New Mexico and elsewhere. I dunno, maybe the Mercy Ambulance diehards have kept LV in good graces with the cool ambulances and nice operations center?

What do ya'll think of MedicWest out there?

It has been in the works for months now but today it is offical, AMR has bought Medic West ambulance. So the future will be interesting. Laughing
