Streamlined the commander II section, traded a 8000 halo strobe combo to \"ford dealer\" for a older blue commander.

Some closer shots

What type of lights are the spherical balls in the third photo, the third shelf down? Any information on them? I'm assuming some type of Mars light, as the rest on the shelf appear to be. I've never seen anything like them before.

Hi John,
That's a fine looking display. I also found and wheeled in a 5000PA stobe beacon same as the right one in the pic above.

For those who like to see in close and inside check:

Nice! I am surprised there are any left with decent domes. Good find.

It's in pretty good shape because, as far as I know, it was never mounted on a car roof. It has been moved around a storage a lot judging by the marks on the skirt.
It's defenatly a cool light (tall too)

Those Trippe lights a kinda odd, what were they used for ??

greetz,
Patrick

They were seen on various emergency vehicles. Pretty dim, early reflectors (vs sealed beams).

The lights to the left of the two Trippe lights are two KD Lamp 888 and to the right it is a Carpenter Master-Light.

That is correct... although one of the K&D lights has some end distributers name stamped on it instead. It is w/o a doubt a K&D though.

John Marcson,
Do you have the same experience as I have with KD Lamp 888, that the metal in the base is so thin that the top is caved in due to the strenght of the mounting bolts? The lamp head is leaning because of that.

It is also nice to see that you have a small European collection.

For those who are interested I will give an information of what they are.
From left to right: AJ.BA GF.10 Pulsar, Hella KLJ 70, Hella KL 710, Bosch RKLE 130, Pintsch Bamag KLN 12-BQ, Bosch RKLE 110 and FER 8562.5.

I have seen that happen before. Mine aren't mounted to anything so i haven't had the problem, but i know they are prone to it.
