Ironic, I'm about a 10 minute drive from a Mt. Vernon fire department as well
The department I'm joining is all volunteer also, and averages about 95 calls per year... |

Yep, most of our calls are for the interstate. Since we are the only dept in the county that does extracation we cover the entire county for wrecks with entrapment.
