Anyone have any knowledge on this lightbar? I got it fopr a good price and am currently using it with great results on my pov ( I'm a volunteer firefighter). I've searched the web but can't find any reference to this bar.

Hmmm...looks almost like their SD series bars, but the speaker appears different.
I've never seen that type of bar before...

The bar is bullt on the code 3 SD platform, at was sold as a \"private label\"bar for Galls. It had either the belt driven sealed beam rotators, or the independant rotators like the code 3 model.

I've seen a Code 3 LP lightbar with the \"Galls Traffic Buster\" name on the endcap. I didn't know they (Galls) was putting their name on lights way back then.

That dates all the way back to Gall's catalogs being about 20-30 pages, printed in black & white on newsprint paper!!!! They marketed the LP6000 the same way and the earlier Code 3 sirens....

Definetely made by Code 3 and labelled for Galls. They did the same thing for Dominion Automotive in Canada, except they put 2 rotators side by side and a V mirror against the speaker section. They were quite effective for their time and many smaller FD's still have them in service

Code 3 used both; and was that way in the price books. The S795 were standard, but you could order the bars with the 55 watt H-1's Galls has been famous for getting their stock bars with the H-1 bulbs.

Actually my bar has both bulbs. The outer rotators have the clipped in H-1s and the inboard ones have the 795s
