Are the NO-SHO lights any good or do they have a poor light output? I was thinking a while back about ordering some to use on a ATV.

A friend used to have a pair, and they were OK, but the color went away after a while. I think the colored foil on the reflector melted off or somehting.

I wouldn't use them on an ATV though. I wouldn't use anything other than LEDs or at the most a single strobe. The alternator on those things are not the most powerful things in the world.

I used to have a pair of the halogen \"no sho's\". They actually had colored glass behind the clear glass lenses. Mine were from Sho-me.

I know that they also come in strobe version but they cost more because of this.

Thanks for your help. Smile

My dad had some SHO-ME ones on his old truck. They just looked like fog lights when turned off. They were more pink than red though when on. Slight red coloration when turned off. After a few months one stopped working though, not real sure why.

One of the local PDs has an ATV with 6 blue TIR3s on it. Looks really sweet, especially at night. they've got two to the front, two to the back, and one to each side. Really lights up good! That's would run you near 400 once you add shipping. But, they don't use much battery power. Would work good since ATVs don't have much power to offer anyways.
