Can you post some general images of the car as well.

Rook, what is the hose thats attached to the vent used for? I know its for the AC/Heat but where does it go to? Also what type of console are you using? That looks like a nice design for agencies using laptops

I don't have one but I'm sure its a cooling hose used by police officers. One end attaches to the AC vent and the other end is inserted behind the body armor. Not sure if I'd buy one up here in the North but they seem like a good idea.

The console is a Jotto Desk HK12. I have one in my demo car. It's nice because the laptop mount slides forward and backward allowing for easier two hand typing.

Here's mine:

BTW, great looking car!

I recently purchased a 05 CVPI for use on extrajobs as a police officer. I noticed the difference in the instrument cluster on my 05 compaired to my work ride which is an 07. I prefer the 05 cluster.

SHTF for me the other night so my 07 is now out of commission.
I will post pics later of it. Got hit by a DWI.[/list]

After driving a CVPI for 4.5 years, the newer cluster is much nicer and easier to see, IMHO.

That happened to a PA state trooper a few weeks ago, just west of Philly. He was sitting in a little spot in between the road and an off-ramp, looking for DUI's, and one kinda just came up and smacked right into him. I don't think anyone was hurt though, except for the car of course...

The coolcop is freaking awesome!!! I hate the heat, my body doesn't deal well with it. I used to work permanent mids, so the summer heat never really bothered me. My wife made me switch to evenings last summer. I bought the coolcop over the winter (cheaper) and love it. Since I have gotten it, more and more people on my dep't have tried it and bought there own. I have had officers offer me cash on the spot to buy it in the middle of a hot week!

My old sergeant was one of the first officers to try out a Charger for our dep't. 2 weeks ago he was helping Maryland State with a collision on the capitol beltway. Thank God they were out of the car cause a drunk came flying up and smacked that Charger square in the bumper. The trunk is now in the backseat. Brand new Charger.... gone....

But hey, on the bright side, if there was anything that you didn't like about the way that one was set up, you can try to "offer suggestions" for the new one, lol...
