Why is that
NY is a courtesy light state, we don't need insane set ups, just enough to get noticed.

I know, I was just saying. I have a full lightbar on my truck. Excessive for NY, yes. Does it move traffic, hell yeah. |

| [quote:ff50a842ab=\"stik208\"]Removed led flatlighter and added a set of Federal Signal cuda trioptics with universal mounting kit and shield. I didnt want to drill any holes in the new truck so I used the suction cups after windexing the windshield, has held up well after a week of Albany roads. I want to put some more in it so I can justify purchasing a touchmaster delta. Any ideas? |
hey stik208. i was just curious if u plan on moving up to a chief (reds and siren) position that u wana buy a touchmaster delta? if ur just staying blue/courtesy, than i think that u should move the itnerior light to the dash and then a mini justice would look nice on the roof if u wanna add more lighting to ur current setup. thus 3 different levels of lighting. just my opinion if it were my ranger.
on the other hand, if u plan on moving up to a chief position, then id just wait and save ur money for when u can drive rls to buy new stuff. drive safe

| I am not a fan of mini bars. I like to keep it it some what lo pro and the tmd would be to control the lights, I would be buying it used any how so it wouldnt be that expensive. I also thought about getting a set of cuda blocks for the grill and moving them lower just havent found the right deal yet. |

thats only due to the angle of the visor, if he stood a little to the right he'd catch how bright it truly is.
really the only downfall of it besides flashback. i also use one. |
Our SO's unmaked units have LED Flatlighters and they are actually quite bright... When angled right. Even for Gen I, the size of the 400s really throw the light.

| I am contemplating a hlf on a seperate switch for theose times when people will not move, but im reluctant to hack into my headlights. I also want a tlf but am afraid of screwing with the transmission. So i dont have a real plan as to what Im doing next. |
