It is simple for now with the grille lights but I just bought it and am thinking of something by the RVM

Double din dash kit worked perfect for my single din stereo and Uniden scanner (external speaker located below).

Nice truck ,so many options a guy could do have a look at the new (edit )soundoff ghost lights that are coming out 2 of those mounted to the back lip of your hood would look good.Or interior mount a Xtreme 6/9 dash light for some off axis warning. Also don't rule out the small but big punch of the ultralite dash lights.Par 36's in the fog lights would give some great off axis as well.thanks Mike for the correction

I think you mean Sound Off Ghosts...
I like them, except for snow buildup on the hood. |

Kohan25,
Please keep your same topics consolidated in one thread and not seperate; ie, one vehicle one thread. I have combined your two posts for you. Also, any additional vehicle info should be added to this thread. Thanks

Sorry. Thanks for fixing.
Now that I am paying for truck and the $ gas for it, it will be hard to buy more lights now. I still have 2 more LX4's that I have to make a custom bracket for and mount in front of the rvm as I tried looking for a housing and they are not sold as a part. |

| I like it. Simple and effective. Any thought of intersection/side warning? |

How about syncing the Vertex's
Overall great install, clean very low profile, and it matches the exterior color of the car! |

I think I do have them syncd? although it does not look like it because with the grille lights flashing it makes it hard to tell. I connected both sync wires together and went through the patterns and came up with the alternating slow to fast flash pattern(whatever name that is). I was going to put them on a separate switch when I get time.
I want to keep the look as stealthy as possible. I keep the dash light in my door pocket and use mostly during the day for extra warning.
Even though I love the leds, I dont think I will be adding anymore to the front, rear or sides. I think I am done for now. |

I see the problem... I think you have the lights on ModuFlash, which is a non-syncable pattern. Even if the wires are connected they won't sync.
You have to select a pattern that is syncable (listed on the install guide). Typically it is just signalalert, comet flash, double flash, a slow single flash, and ping pong (there may be others, but those are the only ones that come to mind). It is kind of annoying, but when I decide to get my vertex's, I will probably run them through the ULF44 already installed.
EDIT: found the guide... Whelen has them listed as \"6 LED Hideaways\" (huh?):
http://www.whelen.com/install/142/14208.pdf
Your choices are:
SignalAlert, CometFlash, DoubleFlash, SingleFlash, ComAlert, LongBurst, and PingPong |

| Thanks for the info. I will have to try again to synch them. I kind of thoughts they were off. |
