Now available in the 2006 CVPI: Industry-first factory available Ballistic Door Panels

https://www.fleet.ford.com/downloads/CVPI/BallisticDoorHC_LR.pdf

You may not have steel side beams, but you by-God can have you some bulletproof doors.

Lightweight, affordable, factory installed ballistic door panels! That's somethin' else.. not sure what to say yet. It's hard to imagine.

This is just going to skyrocket the things to add to my list of crazy things people have told me these cars come with.. let's review:

Quad-Cam Cop Engine, Bullet Proof Tires & Windows, Stab Proof Seats, Steel Door Beams, SuperCharger, Anti-Deer Harmonic Wheel Covers

Thanks for posting this.. not sure the rest of the CV community has even found this yet.

Quite interesting. I don't see that becoming a very popular option at $1,200 per door, however.

That's alot cheaper than having to pay for an Ofc (or Ofc's) Funeral (LODD), hiring new ofc, sending them to the academy, then FTO time (OT or added bonus for the FTO)..etc

Besides, can you put a price on Ofc safety?

Anti-Deer Harmonic Wheel Covers

I know a couple of my local troops that really need this. They have luck for hitting 2 deer a year and totaling the cars out.

Then again he set a record for most wrecked car 2 years in a row. Drunk and Deer seem to love hitting him.
