I'm in the process of re-painting my leather New Yorker. Cairns suggests Sherman Williams paint, but the color suggested is only available in a 1 gallon quantity, and I would have to buy one case, (4 gallons). Kinda excessive.

Looking for paint suggestions. I have heard BBQ or high temp. engine paint. I need yellow for Lieutenant. Thanks for any help.

I have been told that the high temp engine paitn works very well. It was used by a dept one of my friends was once on and they did it to all of their helmets to make them look new. It should work out very nice for you. ( i envy you for having a leather... i want one)
