Please make sure you understand the topic of the forum you are posting in before you post.
I think a lot of the confusion may come from an item falling into 2 categories, ie a collectable item that is also for sale. All for sale items need to be posted in the \"For Sale\" forum. The same is true for \"Wanted\" items. The \"Vintage/collectable, Lighting Equipment and Non-Lighting Equipment\" forums are for technical/observation discussions about specific types of equipment, not the sales of that equipment. Also, the feedback forum is for \"ebay style\" feedback about transactions, not feedback about the site or equipment.
I understand that mis-postings like this are accidental and are bound to happen. All the moderators here make an effort to move posts to the forum where they belong. However it takes a decent amount of time to go through and move each post to the right forum. It takes considerably less time, especially when a forum is crowded with misplaced posts, to simply delete those misplaced posts. If your post is suddenly gone, first click on \"View your posts\" to see if it was just moved to a different forum. If you still can't find it, please reconsider the content and location of the thread before reposting. I apologize for an inconvenience this may cause.
Finally... posting a thread in all the forums is considered spam, and will be treated as such.
Thanks for your cooperation
