I notice that the PA200 wail tone is diff now and then. In some 200's the wail goes deeper when doing the roll down.

The manual button is ussally red but I've seen them black as well.
Does this button colour make difference in wail tone of are there other diffenerences ??

thanks,
Patrick

All PA200s use the same siren oscillator circuit, and when they come from the factory their wail tones all sound the same. The reason why some sirens sound different is because of wear and tear on the components. I have a PA200 that plays at a lower pitch than normal, and this is likely due to worn out capacitors in the siren oscillator circuit.

o.k, that sounds like I would expect.
I guess it's not possible to 'make it' pitch down lower with adjustments of components or other parts.

thanks for making it clear.
