Has anyone seen or used one of these before? I need some type of switch box that doesn't have a siren with it and this seems like a really good one as far as size and features go but I've never heard of the company or heard anyone talk about it. If anyone has any info about it or something similar in size or smaller that has the master switch ability please let me know, thanks!

How difficult is it to program the switches to do what you want? I don't like to think of myself as electronically challenged but I don't have a ton of experience with programming things like that. I also like the one cdpdogboy recommended... they look fairly similar with the exception that I've heard of sound off Laughing Also, does anyone by chance have a list of all the little label tabs you can put above the switches for the brookings? I'm just curious as to what your options are...

I have got its bigger brother which has the extra pursuit switch slide. Very good unit, no problems. I got mine from Galls but it was/is manufactured by Touchtronics

This should be the instal guide

Not sure about the legends but another site member told me that Brookings were very helpful in dealing with them direct

the switch is programed be pressing a sequence of buttons together at the same time. It is really simple and takes less than 2 minutes to program thewhole thing.

the legend stickers that come with the switch have approx 20 different labels from spotlight to pursuit to rear flasher ect.

I installed the Brookings BR-990 in my father's Suburban. Excellent switch box and the programming is almost idiot proof.

Had a slight problem with RF interference from a VHF radio. Although I purchased the switch box through LSHLights, I called Brooking Industries directly, and they helped me solve the problem.........First rate customer service in my opinion.

BTW: the issue wasn't with their switch box, it was my radio antenna

I say GO FOR IT

Do you know what the model number is and if galls still sells this one? I found one on their site that has what you're talking about plus a siren but I'm in a blue light state so I can't have the siren functions. If they make the brookings one with a slide switch I would be interested in seeing it.

Thanks!

I have mounted this exact unit in a vf unit. Was very easy to install and use. I would recommend it.

Galls XL200 but I don't know if they still sell it. They had one with a slide switch too. If you want just a nice digital switchbox check out TouchTek products, pricey but well worth it.
