|
|
I am looking for a arrow stick control that will control 8 LEDs, but I need it to be a small unit, that doesn't require an control head, and can be controlled from 3 trigger wires (Left, Right, Warn) (where left &right together produce center out) as my current setup only allows that.
I have looked around but can't really find anything other than one that comes built in to some Whelen Dominators.
Any help on recommendations would be great.

I have a module that allows you to use any single momentary button to scroll thru the patterns (1-2-3-off-1-2-3-off...etc). I made it to address the space issues of a particuliar application of a department. Worked out very very well and a cheap controller too at only $44.

| I think what you are looking for is something like the Dominator (Not the TAM83 model - that has a controller( or Ultra light that uses an internal controller on the bar. I have looked for the same thing you are (a TA controller that lets you use your own swithces) and so far nothing. The closest I have found is that that the TACTLD1 (Whelen's LED Controller) has a wire coming out the back that will let you activate it remotely to flash mode by giving that wire power when the unit is off. |

I forgot about that guy... I have never really seen them used.. but that would do what you need when it is in traffic advisor mode.
The only thing about that is it is not a true controller, you have to install power and ground for each light, as apposed to switching lights either through positive or negative.
If you haven't bought anything yet, then you should probably get something like the sound off ultralight or the dominator with internal controller - those would not need any extra controllers and the functions could be controlled through switches. |
