Forgive me if this has already been asked, I tried to search but my computer was getting hung up.

I have a smart vector and one of the smart pods is acting all kinds of funky. It will not return to the home position and doesn't want to rotate. IT will light up in TD mode or Alley, but it's not aimed in the right place. It was working just fine eariler, then when I turned it on again....this is what happened. Confused

The other pod works just fine.

Any help would be appreciated.

The black position sensor that senses the rotator position, swap it out with another pod and see what it does. If the problem migrated to the other pod, you have a bad sensor which needs to be replaced.

If it's still with the same pod, go to the board and swap the motor harness. If it migrates to the other, either the cable's bad or the circuit board's bad.

Ok, thank you. I will try that. I bought those pods on Ebay as is, and until now they worked great.

Check the connections on the board from the rotator/lamp pods. I have had weird things happen with mine as you discribed. I found that sometimes the connectors do not make good contact.
