First - let me say thanks to all for the forums and information. The lessons learned from here are what prompted a lot of my plans for this vehicle. All LED's are red.
Whelen LIN3's in grille and Avenger at passenger visor.
Close up of Avenger
Thanks to 10-75 Emergency Lighting for the stealth plate bracket
Whelen LIN4's in both rear sides.
Whelen Dominator in top and LIN3's on rear gate. (Dominator can be shut off via Cencom to work in back)
Cencom and M/A-Com M7100 control head (800 trunked)
Vertex control head for both VHF & UHF radios
Side panel in rear now contains an always on and keyed power fuse panels.
Cencom and M7100 radio mounted in rear hidden storage.
Here's the obligatory video - first one I've taken with the camera so apologies for the quality.

Very nice... good job.
that took balls to drill right in the back hatch, I was expecting to see a license plate bracket, but was wrong. |

nice ride. u have any plans to sync the lins in the grill (i.e. x-pattern).
2 things i might done are lx4's instead of lin4's to punch through the tint in the back sides and center the avenger (just below rvm or on dash)...maybe a diff flash pattern for the d4, but thats just my personal pref. other than that, looks good. drive safe |

| Leave the avenger where it is. Its all personal choice. I'm like you, I have my talon mounted in the same spot on my Explorer. |

I like it. I like the look of the avenger under the visor. They made visor mounts for a reason. I am for synching but at a pattern like that you don't really need to. How did you key switch one of those fuse blocks? Stupid question but when you say key switch you mean those electronics and whatever tied into the fuse block come on when whe you turn the key either to acc or start it?
Looks great keep up the good work with that charger.
Thanks
Matt |

Wow great job. Looks like you are a season pro. Those are some super heavy wires running from that fuse block for all the LED's you are running. I suspect they are to something else but I would make sure that the fuse blocks can handle that amperage. Also find some scrap plastic and shim the top LIN 3's you would be surprised how much power you lose when you point them slightly up or down.
I love the radio mounting. What do you do when you want to transmit? I am thinking I might have to do the same but I will have to figure out something for the mic. |

I'm a tall guy and prefer the avenger on the passenger side but regardless the radio head is centered. Need to be able to reach that |

Ah. Makes sense now. My favorite is the radio head mounting. Very cool and effective.

Looks good.
Two questions regarding the M/A Com radio.
1. What is the extra cable plugged into the rear of the main unit? Our units only have the one cable, which eventually hooks up the remote mic. Yours looks like you have a second cable fitted between the main cable and the unit.
2. Where did you get the mic holder? |

You can find those on eBay. They are meant for cell phones but you can mount what ever you want on them. |

1. The extra cable is for the dual head that is now mounted on my Odyssey Auto cabinet in the back (more pics to follow).
2. http://www.kudausa.com (great stuff! We use these for all the unmarked cars) |
