1999 Honda CRV headlight flasher?

first of all, i DID try to search for this and came up with nothing so i'm looking for help from the general membership.

my partner has a 1999 Honda CRV and wants to put in a HLF for it. i already told him that choices are limited for imports but he wants me to ask anyway. if anyone has any info please let me know.

I used to have a 1999 Civic Si. I just used a $20 cheapo headlight flasher. The one I used was positive switched.

You would probably want to double check(with a multi meter) to make sure the CRV is positive switched as well but I would recommend the Whelen UHF2150A because it can be wired to either be positive or negative.

I also had a 99 CRV; the headlights are positive switched.

I used a standard HL flasher out of an old CVPI, I believe a Sound Off, and it worked fine.
