I've got a BL10000 that I think has some communications issues. Sometimes when a button is pressed, (TD, alley, outboard strobes, etc), the red indicator light on the controller (MPC-01) just flashes and nothing happens. Other times it works fine. What should I check first?
It's also got 3 strobes out. Is this more likely burned out bulbs or a burned power supply or something? |

If the indicator light flashes, it means there is a problem somewhere. What is that function suppose to do?
Most common cause is a loose communications wire (is the serial cable properly connected at all locations, using the proper cable).
2nd to that, would be a light head on its way out.
What you need to do is ensure that all cabling is tight and connected properly.
The BL10000 draws a bunch of amps in a fully loaded bar. Make sure you running this on a vehicle that is running, and connected to the battery with proper fuses and connections. |
