Does anybody have an install sheet for the Whelen M Series lights?

I am specifically looking for the M4 series, but I am sure the others would be the same or close.

Can't find it on the Whelen website............

What do you need to know?

Most likely will be similar to the TIR install guide with the 1000 Whelen warnings then a where to mount and wire config.

The wire config for the M-Series is just light the other ones
Wire Color of Light Ordered = Positive
Black = Negative
Grey = Sync
White/Purple = Scan Lock (Flash Pattern Change)
Extra (Brown I think) = Cruise Light

On the Brown wire Robert, you are meaning the NERM feature right or is that an additional cruise light function built in?

I am sure that they are one and the same though..............

First I mean Orange... I have been trying to edit this page... but I get database errors everytime I go to edit or reply... so if you can read this it worked.

Yes \"NERM\" (Non-Emergency Recognition Mode) and \"Cruise Light\" are one in the same

No worries. Appreciate the clarification.

As for the page editting. We are all in the same boat, even on the administrative side of it. We are still waiting on some divine intervention to come and get us back up to normal. Wink

Most likely not. Whelen lights traditionally only have Comet Flash, Signal Alert, Double Flash, Single Flash, Ping Pong, and steady burn Laughing as their flash patterns

The install guide that came with my M7s is printed on the plastic shipping package so I can not easily post a copy. The Whelen Form No. is 14189(042108)

The syncable patterns (all with Sequence options: Solid, L/R, T/B, I/O, Diag; in Phase 1 or Phase 2) are: SignalAlert75, CometFlash75, DoubleFlash75, SingleFlash75, ComAlert, LongBurst, and PingPong.

The Cylon and Pinwheel patterns are non-sync, but have options: Slow, Medium, Fast, Variable, and Medium w/Solid.

I hope that helps answer your question.
