Here on the pulse of this new day
You may have the grace to look up and out
And into your sister's eyes, and into
Your brother's face, your country
And say simply
Very simply
With hope
Good morning.

I havent voted since I was 18. Then I moved years back. I got a letter from the county where I grew up/was registered a few months back stating they were taking me off the list since I havent voted in a while. I have never registered to vote since.

I voted, took ten minutes, they had a ton of booths up so it was easy and for some reason not many people had a last name from A-F so I had my own express lane. If you don't vote you have no right to complain about the outcome.

Same here. I had one person in front of me (who was finishing up), and there were five machines open (two in use), and no one in front of me. All together, it took inside of ten minutes.

Agreed. Now if you do vote, you have some right to complain about the outcome.

Walked in, no waiting.

And no matter who wins, I'll still complain. Instead of picking the best, it seems like we have to choose who is the least worse.

Supposedly the networks could project a winner by 8pm Eastern Standard Time. We should know more officially by 11pm Eastern Standard Time. I am doing a 4 hour live event for our campus TV station, we have around 10 channels. With that said, I don't think it would be out of the realm of possibility that this gets close and it may be a little later, I hope we never have to deal with the 2000 debacle where we didn't know for days.

Was in line for maybe 10 minutes at the most. For some reason, the majority of the people in my polling district have names that start with the letters H-R, or else I would have been in and out, oh well... Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes

I'd bet that the MSM will be declaring Obama the winner by 4 PM EST 11/4.

I actually heard about a court case today something about military absentee ballots and how a judge in virginia is making his decision on the 10th. so if it comes down to virginia we may have to wait. someone correct me if I am wrong about my information.

Its so hard to not turn on the news and watch how things are coming in. It just makes my stomach turn and my blood pressure rise. Its like watching the home team in sudden death overtime...

I'm trying very hard to just wait and see in the morning
