| [quote:d3cea4953a=\"MichaelR\"]not that they actually make anything other than the opti-link (which is a very good controller, better than high current switchboxes) |
as Cell2solutions said, that's not strictly true..
All these lights in strobe or fitted with LAWs
excellent product
Like a Project-A-Flex but with a thinner tip so fits where even the Project won't
The last one's not a good pic but they used to make a modified 4000 with a three or four stage pneumatic mast through the middle of it with twin metal halide floods sitting down into the bar. The original 110V lights were actualy completely hidden inside the bar when down. Great light output with a free roll bar too boot |

| [quote:2f8863d741=\"sendec\"]Still, why isn't this stuff available in the States, particularly products from Federal, which I thought was a U.S. based company. I know that there are different standards mandated in different countries, but if we can import everything from cars to sex toys, I don't see why it should be that difficult. |
That's like: why does Ford make completely different cars for the American and European markets?
There are some crossovers: for example, FedSig has the Vista lightbar in both America and Europe, and Ford has the Focus in both... but for the most parts, the lines are different. |

If anyone needs matrix panels or a high power LED beacon, I'd be happy to get you guys a quote.
I have recently started my own emergency vehicle lighting company as a side job beside my fulltime employment at the fire brigade. I work together with Hnsch Germany, who have been in the development of lighting equipment since 1985. German engineering and production, so Quality products!
Hnsch also produces international equipment, so Matrix signs in foreign languages. Stop Signs, displaying \"Police/ Stop\" or \"Police/ Follow\" are very common around here.
The even have a licensed version of the Whelen Edge with their own LED technology inside (different than Whelen), which is quite amazing. But this shouldn't change into a promotion posting.....
I'm currently expanding the market in the Netherlands and assisting in expanding the amber product range, which is a big market around here.
Regards, Ruud-Peter, the Netherlands |
