I am going to be doing a installation on a 07 silverado. Just for plowing purposes but will most likely double as a chiefs car when he is working. self employed whatever. I digress. It will just be a whelen debating wattage with 6 haws. I am thinking he will do 4 in the back 2 in the front. Has anyone come up with a final good position for haws in the front and back or just the usual. Also how have people with pick ups run their strobe cable to the PS which i will probably place behind the seat (single cab) on the rear wall. Any help suggestions comments criticism whatever let me know. Pictures would help too or a link. Search never as usual never likes me.

I have an '02 silverado and just ran the cables along with the factory positioned wires for the brake lights etc all the way through to the engine compartment and then through the firewall. It was a LONG run, but I wanted the install to be clean as possible. I'm sure there are easier ways to do it, like to run the wires through the cab vents on the back of the cab in front of the bed. You have to pull out all of the interior molding and carpeting on the back wall to do that though.

we had a Siverado outsourced to have the lights installed (bad idea) and they put strobes in the taillights. Normally a good location and where I would have done it myself, however there is a nice round reflector smack dab in the middle. So when the light fires off it is almost completely obstructed and only visible from the sides.

Next week after I recover from my neck surgery tomorrow I'll look at other locations, but I'm leaning towards the reverse lights.

Thanks for the ideas keep them coming. I knew about the reflector and i told him that. He is leaning towards 2 in the rear 2 in the front somewhere and 2 in the rear cargo lights. When i did my s-10 a couple years ago i just ran the brake strobes from them along the frame rail and just drilled a hole inside the cab behind the seat to get the wires in I just didn't know if that was the best idea. So far so good keep the ideas coming.
