So I've got an edge 9000 I want to add a halogen flasher to. Its a 48\" 8 strobe, TD, alley. There are a pair of halogen reflectors in the rear that have wiring but no bulbs, so I put bulbs in and they didn't work. Lo and behold when I dig in to the wiring, there are 2 wires running from one light to the other, hooked to nothing else! &*$? What I'm asking is what is the easiest way to add a flasher? I also was hoping I could get my TD's to flash as well, and maybe a piercer unit.
Sorry for the novel, any help is appreciated! |

From my experience with Edge bars, is they always have extra wires in the harness for this reason. It is relatively easy to add flashers to the rear and flashing TDs. You would need 2 flasher boards. The basic whelen flasher circuit is cheap and will flash four lamps, and/or steady burn 4 lamps. The piecer can be added the same way.
You may want to place an ad for what you want on the Wanted list.or you can check %$^&bay. |
