Video of a 07' Suburban and 03' Excursion I designed/outfitted at my last base, one of my coworkers did the video for me before I departed. Working on two 04' Excursion's at my new base. Have photos of the inside's if anyone is interested. Stu.

Those look sweet. Nicely done. Simple, yet quite effective. My only dislike are the TIR3s on the Excursion's mirrors. I'm not sure if they're pointed up or what, but they don't seem to do much. Other than that, sweet rides. Stay safe brotha-

Thanks for the comment, I did not like how the mirrors turned out either, but were positioned there due to the motor in the housing. Were still pretty effective though. Stu.

Yes 8 in the grille of the Excursion, mounted on an aluminum plate (had a few extra). 4 in the grille of the Suburban. Stu.

I like 'em!
Beats the crap at what they did at Little Rock AFB. Maybe you can come over sometime and beef up their lighting and teach 'em how to fight fire while your there. |

I'm a bit confused. The still photos show a 2007 Suburban, but the video shows a 2000-2006??

Sorry to confuse you, but the video has two separate vehicles, a 2007 Suburban and a 2003 Excursion, that's what it said on the door plates anyway. Stu.

grfd711, all we get is a standard SUV and it's pretty much left to our ourselves to make it happen/or not. I choose to make them loud and proud! Stu.

Kind of curious - I guess those are based in Japan? Are US. mil vehicles in the UK or other left-lane country right hand drive, or can they stay left-handed?

Those are stationed in Japan and we have U.S. Spec'ed vehicles here in the UK as well. Most bases are that way, but there are a few exceptions that I have seen. Stu.

As far as I can tell, US Military vehicles stay LHD wherever they are.
(Although most US vehicles imported in the UK are available in RHD !) |
