|
|
As the subject says, I am wondering about a unit that controls both the siren and lighting functions. I do not need the TA feature. I hear so many people talking about the Whelen CenCom Gold. I like it, but I am looking for a less expensive unit. What are people using and would you recommend it or not?
thanks in advance. |

| i have used the CCG and it was wonderful but i got it in a package deal and was basically free. i loved it but traded for a unitrol touchmaster delta (UTMD). i highly recommend the UTMD. i also say the Whelen 295SLA6. both are 200w units. both are great units and even though i am partial to Whelen...i love my UTMD. the smart siren by FS is pretty good too but also pricey. you can find a lot of these sirens on here for sale. |

| I 2nd the above. The UTMD would be an excellent choice. If you are on a budget, Try looking for a used utm4. Not as pretty as the delta but.. still 200watt w/a pursuit switch and toggles. |

| Smart Sirens can be had for under $200 and they are great. I have one and I love it. The UTMD is hands down my favorite siren but I needed something with a remote mounted head. |

| I have a UTM Delta FS. PM if interested. It's listed in the FS area, like new. |

| Another vote for the UTMD! Had one in my last vehicle and it was great. Wish I would have never sold it. |

| The Whelen HHS2100 is a good option for those with little space. |
