I was informed that our chief Rick Fore was rushed to the hospital after a possible stroke tonight.

He and his son where at the station working on one of our trucks when he began to seize and his face started to draw to one side.

I will keep Chief Fore in my thoughts and prayers. Healing smoke headed his way and I hope he overcomes this, my friend.

I hope he does alright. If they caught it soon enough, hopefully he will make a full recovery. About a year and a half ago we were out working a traffic detail and one of my partners started to get that numb feeling on half her body. Face started to freeze up, all the early signs of a stroke. I threw her in my car and took off to the nearest hospital. Thankfully, she only had a minor stroke and completely recovered, but she has to take asprin every day for the rest of her life.

Rick is home sleepy with a headache. Doc said it was a combination of us being up 48 straight drinking lots of coffee. He was dehydrated and pretty much was passing out from lack of sleep.

His son swore he was having a stroke but thankfully he was not. Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers.
