What color arrangement should I use with my 2 Ultralite 4's?

I am getting 2 Ultralite 4's for my upper windshield and I have a question on the color arrangement. Now I getting both in R/C but my question is when I set them up on my windshield should I get them so on my windshield they are RRCC CCRR? or should I just stay with RRCC RRCC?

RRCC RRCC

Candycane a la old Aerodynics. Cool

I think that would be a nice settup on a light bar-- RCRC for the inners.

Personally, I would get all red. Then, use a HLF or HAW strobe for your white light.

I am getting both HAW and a HLF as well but I personally don't think that you can see RRRR as well as the split.

Well the reason I am don't want to go just with Red with the ultralite 4's is because I am getting 2 ghosts grille lights that will be all red. Thats the main reason I want R/C in the visor lights.

I vote RRRC CRRR and make the C alternate in a wig wag form on their own flash patterns.

Yeah, that would be ideal. If you can't buy them like that just get 1 RRRR and 1 RRCC and switch the modules.

What is it with everyone saying clear for LEDs? They're ALL clear. The color of light they put out is not clear, it's WHITE. Rolling Eyes

Watch out, the technicality police are here.

I'd go RRCR RCRR. It's nice to break it up a little bit, but you don't want too much clear on there.

nothing dilutes an led system like a lot of different colors.

the worst perpetrator of this is white.... white, interspersed, will send your sweet r/c setup into pinkland, so try to keep it as grouped together as possible, closest to the centerline of the vehicle.

i vote RRCC(----)CCRR

I don't know how closely you've looked at the Ultralites, but they are really bright in all red. If you are putting clear in your headlights you'll probably find that any white light in the windshield is overkill.

I would avoid the white (bluish white) and utilize a steady red in the center of your array - anything you have at the lower level as far as HAWs and wig wags will more than make up whatever white lighting you were looking for out of your visor array.

I would go with all red in the headliner. HAW and HLF has PLENTY of white light.
