Damn good scene time, too. Good to see other agencies are all ready well onboard with the lime-green DOT vest thing, even if mine is sorely behind the curve...

Well, some of them were. None of the firefighters had them on over their turn-out gear.

Was there any patients in the back ? if so i could see removing the whole roof like that.. but if not.. wouldnt a half roof roll been enough to get the front people out. imo.. its quicker to get the patient out if there was only someone in the front seats.

We took the entire roof off because we could not take the patient out by way of the door. EMS wanted to take the patient straight back over the seat and out the back of the vehicle so we removed the whole roof. As far as the no one wearing the safety vest thing.... I was wearing mine the whole time. I was the only one. Look closer at the pics.
