hi All,
Tried to do a search, but it timed out (Could not obtain matched posts list)
... Has anyone turned a full size jetsonic into a mini (or two)?
It looks like i would just need an end piece and a retaining clip, right? |

Just a thought...would it turn out better if you used a Jetstream bulkhead and trimmed two full sized domes down into mini left-right halves, meeting in the middle at the bulkhead? Goodness, it wouldn't take much to improved on Federal's cheesy mini solution of an endcap and a strap. You might be on to something good, and better than factory! You will have to tap threads into the aluminum base for dome screws either way you go. Good luck with the project. It actually sounds like fun. |

| Charger Lighting ought to chime in here... I know he has made Mini MX7000s, and cut down Vectors into minis. |

I like this idea better. We found two of the jetsonics stuck in storage - they need some help (the lenses have seen better days) but i thought it would be a fun project to tinker with in my \"spare\" time. |

Yes, you can
I had a half broken jetstream (come from a car crash), I cut the aluminium frame and bought one end cap (#Z8552286A) and the retaining band (#Z8552B237A), a few time to wiring, and now I have a like new mini bar No wasting time |
