I am just curios as to what the programming software i would need for my whelen cen com red. is it the same software that i use to program the MPC-01 or no? I am pretty much baffled at how to program this unit. thanks tom

Hi,

You will need the cencom red cd download onto your pc then you program the arm unit.

What is this cd you speak of and where can i get one? and the arm unit, are you referring to the download unit i have for the MPC 01?

Hi,

Just a usb cable from pc to arm/amp unit once the disc is loaded.No transporter is needed.

so where can i get one of these cd's. also during programming does the unit have to remain powered by the vehicles 12v power?

You can get ahold of Whelen and see if they have them. Yes the unit has to be powered on when programming it.
